💜October Students of the Month💜

💜 Upson-Lee Family in Need 💜 Knights, we need your help. Over the weekend, one of our Upson-Lee families lost their home in a devastating house fire. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but six students in our district were affected and the family has lost nearly everything. Upson Lee Elementary is having a $1 student hat day on Friday to raise funds for this family. Clothing donations may be dropped off at the front desk of our school. Toys for Tots Drive/Canned Food Drive

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We will be administering our Winter i-Ready Screenings on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. These assessments help us monitor your child’s progress and identify areas where additional support or enrichment may be needed.

Please ensure your child arrives to school on time and gets a good night’s rest. Encouragement and a positive mindset go a long way!

As part of our Red Ribbon and Anti Bullying Week celebrations students participated in a t-shirt drawing contest. The students were asked to design a t-shirt that represents what being drug and bully free means to them. The design had to include a positive message or image that promoted being drug and or/bully free.

These students won the PBIS October limited edition raffle for a free hometown kids tea. Way to go!

Mrs. Krebbs has been an excellent addition to our ULES family. She has such a vibrant smile each day for her fellow staff members and builds excellent relationships with our students. She is always up for a dress-up day with her colleague Mrs. Epps! We are so glad you are a KNIGHT!

Students with ZERO behavioral referrals participated in our Celebration Stations on Oct. 24th. These stations consisted of activities such as Cheerleading, Cartoon Drawing, Fall Claws Nail Salon, Ghoul Goop Slime making, Board Games, Bead Press, Gym Games, Sip-N-Paint, Line Dancing, Sphero Bowling, Jewelry Making, sidewalk chalk, and Cupcake decorating. Congratulations students on making it 10 Weeks Referral-Free!
