Today, we traded our everyday superhero gear for Marvel costumes during our Book Character Parade! Just like the Avengers, we, the admin team knows that it takes teamwork, courage, strength, and a little bit of superpower to get the job done! Like Storm, Mrs. Brawner brings the power to weather any challenge that comes her way. Like Black Panther, Mrs. Campbell leads with strength, wisdom, and a commitment to protect those who matter most. Like Captain America, Mr. Clarke leads with courage, integrity, and a commitment to doing what is right for our students and staff. Our superpower? Putting the instructional needs of kids first (PINK), supporting our teachers, and making sure every student has the opportunity to succeed! At ULES, we don’t just assemble as superheroes for a parade… we assemble EVERY DAY for our students! 💜🖤

Part II of Avengers Attendance Students

For the last two weeks, ULES had an attendance incentive. 15 students who had perfect attendance for the last two weeks were entered into a raffle to walk alongside the Admin Team as Attendance Avengers in the Character Day Parade today. Here are the winners!

Red Ribbon Week dress-up contest winners so far! Red-y to Be Drug Free & Bully Free: Grady English, Bentley Little, Presley Perdue, & Kayla Hunter. Team up Against Drugs & Bullying: Alston Whatley, Caroline Garrett, Beckett Watson, Asher Greene, & Rylan Dean. Everyday is a Holiday When You Are Drug Free & Bullying Free: Lilly Guglielmo, Aiden Stinson, Jackson Matthews, Carolina Thompson, & Paisley Mullis.

Fall Picture Re-takes will be Friday morning. Students that need a re-take should bring in a parent note requesting a re-take. Students may change for the book character parade after they get their re-take.
